    Right guys,

Thinking of fitting a 130PD out of a mk4 golf, into my 1990 spec 8v, which doesnt have PAS.

I have a mk2 rack, pump, res, pulley and pipe work.

Can I use the mk4 pump or will I have to mount the mk2 pump to the mk4 block?

    thanks

    Rich

I know you can fit the Mk2 pump to the Mk4 1.8T petrol block (using the Mk4 pulley). If the PD block is essentially the same (need someone else to confirm) then you should be fine.

I'm sure I read somewhere the MK3 pressure PAS pipe fits the MK4 pump? you might nneed to use the MK4 bolt and pressure sensor. might even be able to fit a mk2 pipe straight on, not 100% sure.
