I don't mind the car tbh. Not my personal taste but variety is the spice of life! There was a mk2 Driver featured in the May/June 1994 copy 'Volkswagen Audi Car' magazine that had a similar paintjob, except it was green and black rather than blue and black.

Your obviously a bit of a chopper mate then if you are basing your opinion on the opinions of others. I used to act like that when I was 14, but then I grew up. Anyway back to the car...it mings .
I used to hate the car, I even went as far as mockng it on another site (for which I apoliogise). But now, it's actually growing on me, and I admire Rich for doing all the work himself. He's still a plank though but very entertaining none the less. you should be on TV mate, you deserve to be famous.

i met rich last night briefly. sound guy, i like people who make an effort to talk to you. and as for the comment about richs car looking like a halfords car. thats just bullpoo. when you look up close, the car is mint. thats the main difference! and thats what i like about it i have to say im slightly suprised at nogrilles comments? are you joking??

yeah russ! we never seem to see each other....i didnt even see your car last night! but it was well busy!! i got it debadged at baileys coachworks in new malden micheal white : 02089425155 he is superb! done a few bits for me now. i had the mirrors colour coded and back debadged along with the bonnet polished 250 he likes cash in hand jobs
New Malden's not too far for me either, I have a few bits to sort out on the bodywork of the car, so think I'll give him a try after seeing the work. Cheers for that.

Well, Picking up a gearbox, shift mechanism, mounts and flywheel on Saturday hopefully from Designa-Dubs. Then all thats left for me to source is a DBW throttle body. After I've got that, It'll be 2-3 weeks before it's done. You still up for that test drive?
Serious post time. Rich is a totally sound bloke, and I'd love to know who thinks he's a t**t. Ok, I'll admit, his car is not to my taste really, but I'm a bit more conservative. An Audi man, if you like. But one thing's for sure, the guy is NOT a twat, and I wouldn't defend someone who I even thought acted like one. I'd place a bet that if you met him you wouldn't think that either. So f**k off, nogrille. You didn't have to say anything, seen as you haven't even met the guy.
My thoughts exactly. Even if he does wear shirts that match his car nogrille is actually a decent guy, surprised at him for saying that tbh!
yeah i agree i met nogrille and thought he was just as nice as richgit. cant see why someone would start an arguement with a fellow no ricer....unless there is something we dont know?
