I need to get myself some new uprated brakes for my Mk2 16 valve and have not got a clue what to do. The car has gone in for a service and my mechanic has given me the option of going for the standard brakes again or putting on something with more stopping ability. What do you guys recommend? I have seen some porsche calipers, absolute beauties going on Ebay which I would love to put on, but dont know whether or not they will fit.... Can someone help ???!!

    Thanks,

    Dubweiser. ;)

All depends on the size, and type of wheel you have

No point getting Porsche brakes if you've got 14" wheels.

Have a look at the 280mm brake conversion on my site
