OK the GPS signal was all good, it was updated 2 weeks ago and yet it
missed 2 cameras that have been there for ages.

rather worried as to what else it could miss!

anyone else had their miss cameras?

Hate to say it, but this is the reason I'd never waste 300+ quid on one.

There's always going to be the day when it slips up.

But then most of the time its right, and saves your licence 99% of the time.

Saying that, it hasnt failed me once yet.

Just as well, as i wouldve been banned for going sideways past a camera at 90mph. [8D]

actually, i dont have a number plate on the side of my car :)

you cant expect it to be perfect and anyone who relies on it to the extent that they get caught by a camera they would have spotted before they had it is a fool IMO.

all it is, is there in case you DONT see the camera. Which is valuable but its a lot of money for that, especially when it might lead you intop a false sense of security and make you not see one that it doesnt know about.

You can add them in yourself though can you not? so that next time it does know? and then it uploads it to the database so that when theyve confirmed it its included in everyone elses download?

Perhaps its a camera that is either fake(whether such things exist is anyones guess) or out of service, hence the reason the road angel doesn't warn you of it. They are supposed to be a very good bit of kit, getting mine for 200 in a few days!

oh yeah, I read that when people add a camera in and they go to verify it before they add it to the database for everyone else, they check to see if its a real or a dummy camera [:D]

Yup that is true. 2 near me were not found, added them and helped everyone out!

it can't be perfect, don't rely on it (i know its hard) but its a top bit of kit and really helps me on the 1000 miles a month i do round staffordshire!
