Bill- Not ITB though? Hence the throttle pre-plenum?

Chris- RE: OEM use, I'd say cost dictates engineering/project path. With forced induction the numbers are gained more easily (read cheaply) by working the turbos harder, rather than designing a proper product- shame really.

    Standard GTi-R Plenum/ITB:

Plenum volume seems small- although I think the engine only made 220bhp stock?

How do you work out correct intake length with a turbo system?

Bill is right, check their site: http://www.jenvey.co.uk/

It's just not complete so it doesn't look like an ITB setup.

The picture Bill posted is Jenvey's 'Turbo Plenum' - the top left clearly shows a single throttle body, not individuals- unless I'm mistaken?

Google gave this link which is interesting:

Heinz Heisler's - Advanced Engine Technology is good for this, just need a calculator

Who knows, I don't know why you would have a another throttle body there but i'm also not an engineer.

No data no.. single throttle of appropriate size on a turbo application is what I do personally.

They can be ITB on SF type bodies.. and some choose to go this route.
Plenum is designed to take up to 70mm tbody also - options & choices

So this could perhaps be benificial to supercharged car, if the supercharger can not be worked anymore.
So could be beneficial for my 16vG60 build, if the G-lader is operating at it's limit.

as I have said the plenum and manifolds are modular, so can be single body or multiple bodies (in 4cyl in line)

I think that's them in the top left?

    Either-way that's on a Escort RS running a 477 bhp YB-Turbo
