did you guys know that s african jetta's have rallye lights as std(just saw it on vw vortex) i wonder i f theyre cheeper
Late 2l 16v's jettas came with rallye lights.iirc Most jettas i've seen in SA are like ours,so i like to know how many came with the rallye front.
VW SA made a end of line special edition though I cant remember what it was called, I'm sure I saw it in VW Motoring last year?, though it coulda been The Golf or PVW? I think it was in a readers rides type section? yeah and they also got MK 1 Golfs made till '92, some one near me has a light blue and white CitiGolf (a SA MK1) they have a grille that looks just like a MK2 golf grille.

I went to look at one for sale up in Teesside last year. They produced two run-out top-end Jettas badged as the Jetta CTI. There was a 1.8l K-Jet 8v and a 2.0l 16v. The spec of the one I looked at included big bumpers, Rallye grille, CL arch-spats, air-con, velour interior, 'open' head rests front and rear, two-tone (grey/black) dash, carpet lined door pockets, factory alarm, heavy duty cooling system, etc. I have some pics of it at home that I will try and post this weekend.
