Saw a real smart mk3 down the pod yesterday, im sure the person who owns it is on the forum, it was in the nice burgundy colour with some 3 piece abt rims. Just wondered how he found it on the track, it was real slippy at the start of the day!

I could only manage a 14.5 but after talking to a few people, most of their times were down due to the track being a little damp.

Won 6 out of my 7 runs, i was beaten by a Supra, had a few hks goodies, he got a 14.3

    the 6 i beat were
    VTEC civic with 50shot
    Series 2 RST
    4x4 Sierra cossie
    V8 Triupmh,.... dolomite???
    Honda S2000
    G60 Corrado

there was a nice white mk1 G60 there too, glad i didnt go against him tho, saw him do a 14.3 i think. It just had a couple of seats in. He was struggling for grip too.

Had a good day down there :)

Ita a 1.8 20v from a 225 TT, running Audi management, all standard at the moment, just with a dynatwist induction kit, Forge DV007, Forge FMIC. Hopefully will be on the rollers at a seat rolling road day in a couple of weeks down Stealth.

There should have been two VR highlines there. Black one is Mangold's and the other is six appeal's

    Hi acf8181

Seen a few at Crail and the quickest standard car was 16.1

Mine has an AMD chip, Milltek sport exhaust, Blitz induction kit (192BHP/186ft/lbs) and does 15.1

Hello Mr D4RK1, The car in question was Sixappeals vr6 highline. There 'RH' splits he has on there and I must agree they are awesome looking. We both had a cool day at the pod, best we managed was

    Sixappeal - 15.3 (stripped interior)
    Mangold - 15.6

both cars have identical spec, although the toyo proxes had far better grip than the goodyear F1's. This was proven when we swapped cars (F1's loads more wheel spin).

Thats good to know vince, i was using Eagle F1 GS-D2's

Didnt bother with lowering the pressures cant see it making much difference on a 40 profile anyway. Thats good to know about the toyos tho.

i was there a couple of weeks back for the RWDY or what ever it is and i saw a mk2 that was absolutly flying, low -mid 13's i remember, its was an after market brightish metalic green thats saw gernaly smoothed off, but i think it must have been running a VR6 turbo judging from the sound alone, anyone know what it is?
