Scirocco 16V owners?

Anyone out there with a genuine Scirocco 16V, or know of an owner (or even someone who used to have one) ?

If so, plesae get in touch planning an article...

hi Bull, having photo'd your car at inters i was trying to find you via e38 when i was helping neil with the article. its been printed now but we (Scirocco Register) will be featuring a uk spec valver in our next club mag - have a look over on our site/forum anyway. www.sciroccoregister.co.uk.
Would be worth replying to Neil too, follow up in next months letters page perhaps?

 

Dave Turner used to run one in the Castle Coombe saloons with Lloyd Allard driving it a good few years ago. He hasnt got the car but knows who does could be usefull but depends on what type of article your doing

 

IIRC, that was a converted car.

 

The article is in this months VW Driver magazine, if you weren't already aware. Quite good I thought.

I've got a mate with a scirrocco strom with an ABF 20. 16v in it

and there's Paul Bargate of course, that's an original 16v and one of if not the the quickest N/A cars in the vw sprint scene.

 

Got tubthumped's old abf in my Rocco storm.
One year soon I'll get it running too....
