Hey all, Not sure if this is the right place to post about shocks, but I am after a drivers side front shock as mine has now died... I live in Southend in Essex and was wondering if anyone happened to have one spare and to hand - perhaps to send or for me to collect. Thanks Adam
You'll be wanting to replace them as a pair, or you'll be in the ditch in no time. GSF do boge/sachs ones for pretty reasonable money, but there's other things that could do with replacing while you've got it all in bits (spring cups, top mounts, bumpstops etc)
Yep have to agree with you on that one. I'd never buy secondhand, even if I knew the car it was from, too much risk. I bought Boge Dampers with Eibach Springs which dropped it 50mm. As Skyrocketeer said, not too badly priced.
I bought my Boge form my local VAG Dealer, got a good price The Eibach Springs, i think i got from C&R Enterprises, but there are plenty of places that sell them.
