Whats one of these worth.MK2 In Blue on a B plate with FSH unsure what milage but apparantly in VGC ???
not a great deal. b plate is a mk2 storm, not as rare as you might think, and thats before all the storm copies that are about (think mk1 gti campaign, all it takes is a new set of wheels and one or two other things and people go mad cos its a "rare" campaign. of course the gti is rare cos all mk1 golfs are, most have rusted away. Scirocco mk2s are less rare, cos they were made up till 1992 or thereabouts. its the mk1 scirocco storm thats rare and worth something, in good nick. I'd say 100-400 depending on mileage / condition. just cos it says FSH it doesnt mean itll have one. or its been done by terry the wonder carcass's dad, maybe.
omg what have they done to that poor thing? [:^(] easily put back to standard though for a bit of cash Edited by: Jeff
I wish mate, out of that and the one ive got i could make one decent mk1 rocco but cash and storage are issues at the mo [:^(]
they only made 500 mk2 storms, 250 in havanna brown with tan leather, wool carpets and saddle brown dash and 250 in the silvery blue with dark blue leather, carpets and black dash (might have had blue dash, not dead certain), they both had the wheels that were later fitted to the first 16v golfs (montreal, or bottle tops) and had decals on the rear not badges, they had Karmann logos on the B pillars and a Storm badge in red on the grille. They got the body kit that most sciroccos got from then on as well. K-jet inection with a econometer and MFA. Leccy windows and manual tilt/slide. No other mk2s had those colours and hide options and the decals are a nuisance to copy as so few remain so its easy to spot someone selling summat as a storm. As I recall it was on the V5 as the model designation, but dont quote me on that. Sadly they dont fetch much but in good nick are the best of the sciroccos IMHO (shame we didnt get the 16v) We cut one up a year or two ago as they rot just like all the others....
