Scrap Value of Lead

Hi,

I have arround 25kg of lead that i dont really want. Its in rolls of it i guess for roofing. Is it worth anything at the scrap metal place?

Yes. Lead is commanding a high price again hence why all the gypo's are back on the rob

Know idea how much it fetches though, but 25kg should by you a good few beer tokens!

 

Only about 30p a kilo, maybe not woth your while..... steal copper next time instead!

True. I took in 140 Kg of lead a while back and got 59.90
Some Pikeys were there with maybe 6-8 Kg of stripped copper cable and they got 35

I found it on a church roof, of all places. The stuff people just leave around would amaze you!

 

One of our clinics has had the lead robbed twice recently!!!!

 

I got 0.68 per kilo on th 8th january, at that rate you're looking at 17.

Better than a poke in the eye I suppose!
