lol i thought about that people getting over 200bhp with revo... does that throw the fuel consumption out the window though??

Expensive yes... but they hold their value very well which is why i want it on PCP.. own it for 3 years then sell it, pay off about 6/7k @ 200 a month / 36 months then sell its for about 7k with 30000 miles on it or less in mint condition!

    should work... lol

well it will be worth it if seat do free servicing on new cars etc...

let me know how u get on gorilly...be interested in doing this myself!!

fuel consumption goes out the window if u floor it everywhere anyway....even if it is a diesel...

    Hey ho!!!

Nice cars and i want one!

if it's anything like our old 130pd golf, it's very hard to get it below 35mpg even if you drive like a cnut

mid 60s are acheivable on a long run, but 55ish pretty normal on a 200 mile 80mph type run.

and in normal driving a mk2 16v would need to be at 5000 revs ish just to stay near it

based on mrs driving the mk4pd and me in the 150bhp valver

Just look on the SEAT website. You'll find all the finance details there.

looked on their site, i couldnt find that lot before! firstly i dont want a new leon!! they are nice but not my cup of tea...

i'm going to go into SEAT as that as a PCP plan is total crap, vauxhall offer better than that... for god sake most places offer free servicing, a much lower APR, and a 30,000 mile plan, not 45... as its supposed to be ave 10k a year..

anyway ill go in there, i dont want to pay over 200 a month. less if poss..

just dont want to sell my mk2 either [:^(] [:^(]

will deff sell my mk1 cabby though..

A mate of mine works in the local Seat dealership and i blagged a drive in one.
They are very quick and really pin you to your seat when the boost comes in.
    I would buy one.

just went into seat and booked a test drive, its next saturday at 1..

the rumors are true about the salesmen though... absolutly useless.. i went in there and there were 2 sales people. the first one was with an old man, the old man obviously wanted to buy an ibiza, he was asking lodas of questions and had obviously done his homework, all the samlesman could do was grunt a yeh, or no...

then noone even came over to me! i went over to the other guy and was asking him about when they are going to stop making the old leon, all he said was they already have.. so i asked for some examples of PCPs... don tknow really what do you wana do, well i want an example one. ther eis one on the website, well im not at my computer im asking you for it!

testing driving a TDI150 next week..

well i went and drove it on saturday... to tell the truth im used to driving an 8v 1990 so i'm not used to power over 120bhp / 110lbpf torque...

the leon is amazing! really does pin you to your seat.. amazing pull.. was doing 8mph in 3rd and thought i was doing about 40mph.. its really nice to drive, even if you dont want to buy one go and have a go!

unfortunatly seat only offer a totally stupid finance... 10.6% was all they could offer me.. making the car over 18,000 (and thats without all the toys, just a standard FR TDI-150.

i was prepared to pay a high deposit and around 220 a month (remember my deposit!).. but it was a joke, i reminded the salesman vauxhall can offer nearly 0% on most cars, sometimes give free insurance etc.. all the seat could say was "ohh they are a bigger company than us"..

they also offer NO free servicing or reduced cost servicing, shame cuz its such a nice car, its just not worth 18... only a mug would pay that

To get your mileage below 35mpg then simply hold it flat out, will drop to 22mpg ish.

The 130, 150 versions are noticably louder than the 115 and 110hp versions, the main reason I went for the lower power version. The 130 is the pick of the bunch for all round performance.
