    Hi all.

Someone I work with has an 06 plate Seat Ibiza 1.4, and her battery went flat when she didn't use her car for a while. The stereo is now asking for the code. She's been quoted 45 by SEAT to get this code, which seems a bit steep!

One of my friends has a full version of VAGCOM, but he said that feature is disabled, to stop crime - same as the mileage adjustment option is also disabled.

Is there any other way of finding out the code?!

    Thanks
    Matt.

I knew which dealership originally supplied my car and when I rang them last year, they still had a note of the code in their records of the car and simply gave it me over the phone, although the local dealer would have charged me.
Original dealer should have made a note of the code on the radio security card in the original owners manuals
