Are all the seat subframes for the mk2 exactly the same? I assume the runners and locking mech are but i thought i'd check first. I'm tempted to try hacking some standard frames about rather than forking out for the pricey tailored versions in the hope of getting my buckets a bit lower-the car is a '91 so are there any other frames that might fit in order to make my search easier. thanks
ahhh, thats good to know, thanks Would the corrado ones be lower by chance? I often hear that putting corrado seats into a mk2 gives you a lower seating position but is this down to the seats themselves or the frames? i think a trip to the scrappy is in order once i've checked some widths between the new seats and my existing frames
Mk1 Rocco don't fit in a Mk2 Golf without minor mods. Mk2 are fine though. The handles pre and post '90 spec are in different places, but they'll swap across cars ok.
