Seatbelt Anchor replacement

    Hi,

    I need to replace my wife’s seatbelt anchor (drivers side). I know I have to remove drivers seat to do job. Is it correct that once I disconnect the battery I will need to reset air bag light via vcd etc?

    If you disconnect the battery, it should not give an airbag light as far as I know.

    Disconnect the battery and allow 15 mins before you touch anything airbag related.

    Sometimeson mk5s tho it does put the light on though, do you have means to reset the air bag?

    Cheers folks. I don’t have device to reset airbag if I get warning light. Have to go the garage if it comes on.
