Hi, Last week a neighbours security camera picked up three hooligans in a van engaged in stealing cars. They were arrested about an hour later actually attempting to get into a car. One of the cars they were looking at was my GTi. Apart from the steering lock a and a steering wheel bar I have no other security or alarms fitted. What would members suggest is the best security. Not keen on trackers. A friend had one fitted. His car was stolen and the tracker was found in the road about half a mile away. Is a pedal lock the best option? Any advice very much appreciated Thanks
Simple one would be to fit an immobiliser switch and hide some where out of view ! Easy DIY job or not a lot of cost for garage to do .
