You pay a listing fee for each auction. This depends upon the starting price - the higher the starting price the higher the fee.

The listing fee is also higher for Reserve Price auctions.

Your first picture is free, any more will cost.

Similarly, you can customize lots of other settings but they all cost.

When you have sold the item, ebay will charge you a percentage of the final price.

Ebay collect their charges monthly, so if you sell loads of stuff it's difficult to assess just how much you're paying.

it does look daunting at first but once you get into it you realise it's actually pretty simple. the hardest part is boxing/wrapping everything up and sending it off.

If you have one category and one picture it's 20pence to list. If it doesn't sell it's cost you that.

I'm currently paying Ebay around 100.00 a month in fees. [:^(] Plus whatever I pay Paypal for their fees. [:^(] but if've you've anything to sell you can parcel up and post you can sell it rather than chuck it away.

If you want any tips have a look at my auctions, haroldmeaker is my user name, any questions feel free so long as your not looking at the underwear I've bought.
