Looking for some advice about getting insurance for less than a year. Current policy is up in May and will most likely be leaving the country in July but I want to keep driving until I go. What can I do to avoid paying for a whole year's worth of insurance when I only need two months?
A fair few policies do allow you to cancel early and refund you some money but they take a fair chunk for the privilege. I paid 600quid to insure a car in mid October, canceled in mid February and they refunded me a little under half, that was throu HIC, id just call up a few places and tell them your plans and see what they say.
