Hi all! Just picked up my New car today. 2005 Seat Leon FR 150 with the cupra R body kit. Am quite tempted to pain the calipers red but not too sure if it looks a lil chavvy or im trying too hard but think the look is very nice so im throwing it to yourselves for opinion. Plus Im thinking of doing it myself with a tin of paint, good or bad idea and what paint should I use? Cheers!
I wouldnt do it mate, might look a bit cheesy... like you said you might look like your trying too hard.
I' d say paint them, I think it looks nice on cars with big wheels, it still makes them look standardish. You need to overtake a car with red calipers to see what they look like whilst moving really lol.
If you want to paint them, then paint them my good man. You are obviously tempted.... Naturally it won't do anything for the performance and is purely aesthetic, so why not do a lil photoshop and see whether you like the results. Personally I think if u have calipers that are better than stock and want to highlight them, then go for it.
