    I think it was brought by someone who does road hillcliming & it was only sold with the rear engine [:s] hence it's only rear wheel drive [:^(] shame as it did bring a hole new thing to the VW sene & not to mention it was Ian birch's first master piece :clap:

    wow, a rear engined rear wheel drive rallye! I was never very impressed with it, it had a 2.9 in the back and a 2.8 up front if I recall correctly, that cant be good! looked damn mean though. hmmm blue respray. rich...? :lol:

    The cheapest one i've seen was 3000 (except the bare shell i saw for 300)

    I hope you are kidding they are the OE fitment 15" Sebring rims fitted to the Rallye admitedly they don't often stay on there these days.

    If all Rallye's were made in 1989 do they use CE-II electrics or not?
