ok just wanna see what ppl have done to there mk3 golfs here mine and i want it to look something like this
Good ideas there on the P-shop pic! Both of my mk3's have been pretty standard on the outside, apart from running a fair bit lower than standard! But here's some pics of a friend, Lisa's, Golf CL which has been visually transformed over the last year or so, having only made relatively few changes to it. *** PLEASE NOTE: This not my car, it belongs to Lisa, CGTI Username GTIDreamer. It's not mine. There ya go Lisa! *** Before: After: Edited by: MrBen
Before: (Earliest pics i have...bought the car without the clear indicators, and 17's) After: Latest pics...cars in the bodyshop right now... should get it back next week with all... but one of the body mods that were left doin to complete the car how i wanted it (for now) Edited by: RSSGOLF
here are a few pics of my old one , i do miss it so terribly Outside the house a pic from Deva Dubs A few arty shots
mmmmm think i will join in here mine--MY CAR I BOUGHT IT COMPLETETLY STANDARD then stuck chav bits to it , then binned them all and went euro before- only pic i have when nearly standard and has had about 8 different looks since and then and the FINAL product(i think ) its not been easy .....lol
mines fairly standard on the outside...in fact, i think apart from putting solitudes on (instead of the nasty smiths 5 spokes that were on it) i haven't done anything since i bought it, just kept it well waxed...
had a this car a loooooong time. bought it in 97 and kept it standard for the first 4-5 years. a friend then introduced me to dubsport and told me to drop it sort the bushes and brakes...from there i just kept going and the rest of the spec is in the pic... bloody expensive hobby this tho, don't ya reckon fella's???
Not really sure if these pics will work but here is my golf mk3 anniversary. I have done nothing to it since owning it and i think i will leave most of of it standard. It looks very orange in the pictures Its a very tidy car (hats of to previous owners). I got it back end of october and since then have just had little parts of the paint work done where there were little chips and scrapes. There is only 3 things i fancy doing and they are. The front and rear lights go and replaced with Crystals 2 bar gadgless grilland the alloy wheels redon but with dark graphite gray centers. Anyways this is my car. Very standard just the way a anni should be. Paul
AMZEE mine was exactly like yours was (boggo white low spec model) and now 4 years on it's 20vt'd and looks like this Was a lot of grief and money to get it like this but the feeling of satisfaction is well worth all the hassle
in reply to RSSgolf yeah i still got the MK3 as i aint to worried about seeling her although the girlfriend has ideas for the money it'll raise already! Its hard to find someone who can insure the bugger due to the mods it also puts a lotta people off... The MK4 GTTDi is just a quick as the 8v to be honest...so long as you can keep it on boost. It is a little slower and the 8v grunted all the way down in the range so its a different beast to drive... i also miss the Koni adjustables as the MK4 wallows badly in the bloody corners...on syaing that, i got it for luxury and save on fuel as i use my car daily for work and the MK3 was eating fuel in comarison. check out the website for more pics and also a load from the Elsecar GTi meets from 2002 and 2003 and alos the Edition 38 meet in 2002... www.dtea-ter.demon.co.uk
