ok, the main beams work, the dipped beam work but the side lights dont come on at all. the sidelights do come on when i put the car on main beams! cars a 89 MK2 Golf tested the switch, and thats ok, the sidelight bulbs work because they come on when i put main beams on. other wiered thing is that the headlight LED in the dash is always on blue(main beam).. any idea's?
It could be the column switch (these are a common failure), but I think it might be the headlight switch. I know you checked it, but have you tried swapping it with another switch? Simon.
