I joined here due to having just purchased a VW LUpo GTI

Seeing as someone askedabout the other car in the picture, I replied, but thought it would be better here.

Sister car is pretty standard. We've had her nearly 2 years.

14" BBS RJ wheels and -45mm AVO springs. She's settled a bit since this pic...

Wheels to be changed for some 13s TBA... and 165/60 rubber.
Possibly drop her another 15mmm to -60mm.
See how the 13s look in the arches.

The Arosa is staying with us as our daily. The F*at Punto seen in the reflection is up for sale soon.

A couple of years back I rescued a set of 9 spokes/Tarantulas and hid them in the back garden. I then last year bought some SEAT centres that would fit and some Goodyear 165/60/13" tyres. So the wheels are refurbed and on.

After a first drive to check wheel blance etc. and to take a couple of photo's ...

I'm actually quite pleased, but I feel (as I expected) they need spaced a bit and the car may have to come down a bit for best effect.

The 1.0mpi is a very painful engine, if I recall.

I remember having a polo with that engine in as a hire car. We timed the 0-60 at somewhere near 27 seconds.

Perfectly fine if you only ever drive about town though.

    biggggg!

i did this wiper conversion to my arosa this morning, does the wiper happen to also overlap your rear window and get the top break light bar? mine does with the wiper that came with it, going to go back to vw tomorrow and see if they have a shorted wiper

top job though on this mate!
