skoda 4x4 octavia`s run the 150bhp lump, they also have 4x4 combi diesel octavia 110bhp, the early skoda RS octavia 2wd has the 210bhp lump not available in 4wd [:^(] not sure about the newer ones i reakon the they have the 225bhp
Thread resurrection! I reckon you could take one Mk1 Octavia 4x4, add KW coilovers, a remap to over 200bhp, bigger brake carriers and discs, R32 ARBs, Leon Cupra R or M4 GTI seats and you have an S3 that isn't going to get stolen for half the price. Discuss? What other mods would need to be done?
I actually bought some aftermarket bucket seats out of ones of these! Doesn't help the thread but thought I'd put it out there
idealy you would want to do a 6speed conversion to. a RS is a 180hp 5speed and a 4x4 is a 150 with 5speed. been looking at early RS recently- 4k gives you quite a selection but a 4x4 or 20vt 150 model can be bought for 2k or even lower which when you consider people still try getting 3>3.5k for the earliest MK4 golf 20VT the skoda does represent good value if you can get past the badge. On a seperate note, in European markets you can buy 4x4 Leons as well
You want one of these R32 interior and a GT3071R under the bonnet on a 1900cc motor with all the right bits in it 6spd TT box
