Hi Gti nutters; I've got a late 91 mk2 16v and its got a sloppy gearshift. The gears all work fine no noise no problems at all in fact but the shifter is all wobbly and has no real positive motion (every gear when engaged you can move the stich around like its in neutral) any ideas on whats wrong and aprrox cost to fix?? you can get a small kit of the bushes and little plastic bits that have worn in your linkage. The worst one to change is the ball joint under the lever it's self as you need to drop the exhaust and heatshield to get to it but the rest arent hard. No idea how much it is or if the ball under the stick comes with it but 15 quid comes to mind.... anyone?
