noticed on the inner quarter on both sides of the golf mk3 vr6, if i shine light at it on of the arch on the wheel side you can see a bit of light coming through on either side! its had new rear quarters and sills, obviously i havent waxoiled in there yet! im guessing its a drain hole, were the original drain holes there on the mk3 golf? comes through at the bottom of the red line you can see and not the bung! best regards

What's not coming through? A drain hole wouldn't be much use inches from the bottom of the sill.

Right so your talking about a slit/panel gap not a hole.

if it's right at the bottom of the sill i'd leave it
if it's any higher up i would fill the outside with seam sealer and wax it on the inside

So if you mean the "hole" underneath the sill, just in the corner, its a drain hole. You have 3 of them along the side of the sill. If thats not what you mean, i have no clue. There shouldn't be any :)

No it wouldn't normally have that it's just the way the sill has repaired I'd seal that up with seam sealer
