Smoked lights - how to make them smokier

    OK. So I've done the crystal thing and IMO it doesn't really look all that hot on a dark blue Mk3. I have a set of GSF smoked front indicators with silvervision bulbs in but they don't look dark enough. Also, I'll soon be wanting fogs to match.

    Does anyone know of any products/suppliers out there that can make them darker e.g. sprays or film?

    tinting spray, from your local boyracer shop
    goes at round 10-15 p/tin round these parts

    I know what you mean... with my side repeaters I took the front
    off and sprayed the silver insides black [:^:]

    infact halfords do it aparently, my mate nicked some from there, i couldnt find it though, and when i worked there they said they didnt sell it?! [:s]

    buy black glass paint, thats what i used to smoke my old half tints.

    Cheers all. Off tomorrow, so down to Halfords in the morning. Daresay I'll come back with some dodgy "accessories" as well.....
