Having spent xmas day at the gf's parents, and a big chunk of today at mi dads, i get back from 2 days away and i find this
    [IMG]
some tw*t has dented my front offside wing. f**kers.

wing is quite dented, paint now flaking off - down to the bare metal.

Hope their tesicles rot and drop off.

Anyone have any idea how much it will cost to replace the wing?

Does anyone know of any decent body shops in north east - around newcastle area?

Gits! Should be easy enough to source a wing in the correct colour and as said above dead easy to fit.

forgot to add in my other post (surfing too many windows at the same time), thanks for the offer, ill look for new wing first, then see my options.

may take the opportunity to get some other work done (couple of small rust bubbles just started to come through).

whats best........... second hand genuine panel, or brand new copy panel from ecp or gsf?

well i would think if you can get a good genuine second hand one would be best as would be a perfect fit and if could get in same colour even better. because pattern parts dont always match up properly and some times more hassel than good.

yea i would do that myself and the body shop next door to where i work likes to buy genuine parts as fit together better and get perfect shut lines with out messing around.
If you still need it fitting give me a shout if you not confident enough to fit.

As said above, definitley DON'T buy a pattern wing, bought some from GSF for mine when it had its respray...guy at the bodyshop phoned me up a few days later and said "err, these wings are about 2inches too long!" so i returned them and went to VW and bought genuine ones which went on effortlessly.

the mad thing is im not the kinda person to annoy people - i think lifes too short for agro.

I decided in the end to just take it to a bodyshop, they gunna put new wing on, and do a little bit of other work (usual rust spots round windscreen and couple of other jobs!). They said probably about 200 to fix so not really that bad.

Im looking into getting cctv too.

Nothing nicked, just broke the window - probably the same person as the wing.
