Nice, was the first one taken with film? Digital can't usually deal with that much contrast.

No, was taken with my Digital SLR. I fixed the lens and then as I fired the shutter I zoomed out.

Good pics - I like number 3 best.

Don't forget to take some 'Urban' ones, will you?

What's your usual setup, camera and lens, for the woodland areas? Like the first one heaps!

    I used a Canon 400d
    Focal length 55mm
    F/36
    0.8 exp
    ISO 200

I was using the Standard 15-55 mm lens.

My god, those really are lovely pictures.

There's a little area of woods just on the other side of the field behind our house and I attempted to take some autumn pictures myself but it's all totally amateur compared with those.

didnt get your email so had to use the jpeg on the thread which was awful (quality stepped right down lol) but hey ho. If you get chance buzz me the raw to the other email you gave me - would like a shot at that photo with blending two raws together

I cant seem to send it. Have a look on my flickr page and you can grab the large jpeg there - failing that I will try and send it to you when I get to work tomorrow.
