    Very nice
What wheels are they? Name size etc, they would look good on mine.
Mine is now a steering rack as part of the conversion.

Those are GT Alloys 20160701_125858 (2).jpg (Paddy Hopkirk Motor Accessories) from 1972 but I put these ones on it for Shows as they are the Genuine 2002 BMW ones not the same as the ones off the E21/E30

Sorry forgot to say they were 6Jx13 4x100 pcd. There were a lot of guys in the 02 Forum who had tried to get Rack and Pinion to work but they always went back to the Old Box as the racks did not give the correct feel when driven in anger !!

I don't think going back is an option due to the engine and gearbox and modified subframe.

 Nope, too modern on this car for my liking and too small in diameter. I might go 14 but 13 is too much compromise on tyre wall.

    Tears of joy obviously.
    Well, except for teddy bears.

Dunlop D1 are nice or brm, such a shame most replica retro alloys are for minis or beetles, with the odd rs Ford 4 spoke thrown in, or the original ones are so old they've started degrading.

This lot arrived today. The fronts should bolt straight in. I hope to use the rears too but they will need fettling. The seats are in amazing condition.
Can’t upload a file at the moment for some reason[:s]

Very, very nice Phil. I missed the thread earlier - great project. I like them, and the E21 and E30.

I've seen the photo of the delivery, and they are great, and the colour adds a touch of luxury, different to a run of the mill black vinyl that people associated with early 70s sporty cars, think 1300gt (although I do love basketweave seats) and escort Mexico, and the period retro buckets that are not made for real people, unless they are Fido Dido.
Flat metal plate will probably adapt the mounts, electric/airbag not need connecting, seat height may be nicer for a gentleman of 25+ like myself [:D]
