My wife has a 2004 Vauxhall vectra estate and the heater has just stopped working. It just blows out cold air all the time.
VW owners are a smart lot ( except me !!) so wondered if anyone had any idea's

    Cheers

Couple of things i would be looking at

1/ Is the coolant level ok?

2/ Do you get any loud clicking from behind the dashboard when you turn the ignition on or off, it will be around the glovebox area?

coolant gone I would say. my thermostat is stuck open on my 54 plate vectra atm which results in it loosing coolant (thats due to not being bled properly when i top it up) and when the coolant is gone completely I only know as the heater stops working. The car unless sat still in traffic stays pretty cool with little or no coolant for some reason
