No the GTI and GTD have it too. This is what me and mushy were talking about when mentioning fake engine noise on your other thread.
aye quite a few have this now though i believe the volume can be adjusted with vdcs and as we spoke about in the other thread it is the loudest in sport mode if you change the mode at motorway speed to normal from sport it is a far bit quieter it only changes when you lift off and put the foot down again
