Have a Corrado 16V that requires a replacement 191201373. This is the short pipe section that connects between fuel pump and accumulator. These tend to rust and eventually become an MOT failure as mine has. I did buy a couple of these in the distant past brand new from VW but believe they're sadly NLA now, and I need to get one. Options: VW Spares list a replacement (http://www.vwspares.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=2923) but I phoned them today to find that I need to wait at least two weeks for their stock to arrive. Apparently Think Auto does them (according to Mike_H) but I await a response to my email. I'll try to grab them on the phone tomorrow. I've also sent an email to and await a response from the contact given in Smudge's build thread for the chap who can supply replacements. Any other options just in case none of the above work out? Find a local hydraulics place and pay them to make one? I also have the complete fuel pump assembly from a previous Corrado 16V which might hopefully have a decent enough donor pipe - I haven't looked yet - but it would be nice to use a brand new one as these things tend to fall apart once you start going near the banjos with a spanner.
Now successfully ordered both of the fuel lines (replacements for 191201218 and 191201373) for approximately 40 quid posted in total, thanks to Club GTI discount!
Hi guy's, could you pass any info on to me please as I require the same part to my poorly golf :-( Cheers Matt
