Getting in or out of those things is a right pain in the ring, though in his situation, I'd be out so quick you'd need to slow the video to see me move. I guess he might be a little bit shaken, he went in fairly hard! I'd be very peeved about the car I got to say! More of a write up here
i've hit coolant on track and it scares the cr*p out of you i can tell you....weird bit is, you don't see it, but once you've hit it the trail is very obvious! either ways, if you see the footage from onboard on the prelude, the sun is glaring right into the drivers eyes.
Not telling you off Madmonkey Remember hitting coolant following Keithmac at Donington the other year at Coppice, was watching him turn into the corner sideways, before I knew it I was sideways too
1st vids working now ............... That prelude looks almost out of control before he spins? edit: some cracking vids on his site ......set them all to download over night. Edited by: fthaimike
Just watched his vid on him being overtaking by a 700bhp GT2 and he wasn't hanging around either. Great site!
Some good videos on his site,I think his job is in film/tv industry so that explains why he's got a *proper* video install on his track car
If I'm not much mistaken, he's in the same game as me, but sucessful unlike me, think I met him while down at Pinewood. Worked on the new Captain Scarlet other CGI stuff but obviously takes his video stuff very seriously too....
yeah, looks easly repairable....thats the thing about caterhams and westie's, they look flimsy but are actually really strong...i'd certainly of rather been in the caterham than in the prelude.
Erm, I've just read the specsheet of that Westy, that's going to be very expensive to repair. Carbon this, lightened that, special racing others.
Nah. Pretty pointless getting vids from the MSV tracks these days as you're not meant to put them on the 'net.
Don't know why it is Mike, you have to sign a disclaimer that you won't publically distribute footage taken from their tracks before they give you another wrist band which has to be shown each time you go on track that day, also at Cadwell, the Javelin guys won't let me use my screen mount on the front screen. It's a load of hassle mounting it on the rear screen and getting a good angle,so I won't bother in future. *If* I ever get around to getting a cage I will mount it to that. Apparently MSV can sue for 25,000 should you break the t+c in the disclaimer[:^(]
