Spare axle stand pins - where to get?

I've lost one, and don't really like the idea of screwdrivers etc.

Just wondered if anyone ever seen any spares being sold (out of shops) at all?

 

Use a bolt

 

I supply someone with new ones occasionaly and tbh they don`t have to be high tensile and the ones you get on them from new are only mild steel at best.

 

headbolt?

 

3/8th drive extension bars?

 

Caliper bolt?

 

M12 bolt

 

cable tie

 

Feather?

 

lollipop stick, biro pen, cocktail stick, finger?

Buy some new ones you tight git

about 20+VAT for some very tall 6ton stands from machine mart, kin excellent as they have a ratchet stop so you cant loose the pin and they go tall enough so even I can get underneath the car

you can buy on line from them as well

 

I'm getting Sealey to send me one - they do spares for their 2 ton stands

 

thick drill bit is all i use

 

so did the pins come though?? and have you had time to loose another oner yet??

 

Are they Halfords ones?? if so just ring there customer services, usually very helpful and send bits out for no charge!
