We need to remove and replace the steering rack. Is it possible to remove it without dropping the subframe? Will it slide out the side? Posted in mk3 but it’s a mk2 rack on a mk3 subframe in a mk2 car (not widetrack).
Yes, I’ve seen a couple of threads that say you can slide it out but I don’t have a enough room between the car and the wall. Also the PAS rack is taller and won’t fit through the gap
