strange noises?! - suspension/steering?

i now have an audi A4 2.4v6, (1998)

recetly it has started to make some strange noises, when i turn the wheel left or right when im moving or no it creaks/squeeks?! what could this be, i was thinking powersteering pump/belt, but it also makes a simlar noise when i pull off, which makes me think it could be top mounts?


what are your thoughts?

Does it make noises when going over bumps, if its top mounts/bump stops it'll do that too....

 

ball joint/bushes in your control arms, put money on it, they are weak and go quickly. its a replacement job as the ball joint is bonded into the arm. cheap though
