Hi If you want specific tyres put on your motor, are you supposed to phone them up and ask if they have them in stock (and if they have not they order them for you), or are you supposed to order some off the net and then bring them down to a garage to be fitted (for an additional fee). I was keen on getting some Toyos, but am not sure what the system is. Cheers Andy
Best bet is to ring round a few tyre places and get a price for them to supply and fit the tyres (most will order them in for you if they don`t normally stock them). Get a price for them to fit tyres supplied buy you as well, you`ll probably find there`s no or little saving for you to supply the tyres, and some get a bit funny if they don`t supply the tyres.
Thanks for your response, thats exactly what i needed to know Looks like i will be doing some ringing round now then. Cheers mate.
i've always bought from internet and had no probs getting em fitted. 156 inc vat and delivery for a set of 195/50 15 goodyear eagle F1 gs-d3's suits me nicely. ... and between 15-20 for fitting
I drove the car into a garage and had 4 f1`s fitted and wheels balanced with new valves for 190, didn`t seem worth f**king about!
