No idea if this is possible so was wondering if anyone has done this before.

Basically my main policy is on my Golf with 5 years NCB. It's up for renewal in March but due to the fact the car will be in bits for an engine conversion for the foreseeable future I don't really want to renew it for road use.

I have another classic policy on a Beetle which has 0 NCB on it. Can I swap my 5 years NCB onto this policy mid way through? I'm not interested in discount, I just don't want to loose the no claims.

I realise all insurance companies differ but would be good just to sound the idea out on here first.

    Thanks

NCB doesn't expire for 2 years with most companies so don't panic mate.

Oh really? I didn't know that thanks. Do you get some sort of written confirmation then?
