Well, as it turns out we wasted a significant amount of time fitting a mk3 sensor and plug. We did it and it didn’t work, in fact it was worse. So I did what I should have done in the first place and check to see if there was a resistor fitted. I spoke to James and indeed there is. As a result it must be either the sensor now reading correctly or an air lock somewhere affecting the reading. New plug and sensor incoming. I haven’t sprung for a VW/Audi one as they are heinously expensive. We will try with the new one and go from there.
