passat v5 1999 b5 by the way can anyone help, got a really loud noise coming from drivers side area front of engine, its coming from the aircon compressor im sure of it..but noise is that loud i cant pinpoint it, its not the engine as took belt off and noise went... is it likely to be a tensioner or aircon compressor....dont just want to buy a new tensioner yet as over hundred quid at vw.. aircon works fine and noise is there whether aircon is on or off
