Hi Guys, insurance was due on my focus, group 15, fully comp

24 yr old, 6 years no-claims, no points,

The good quotes all came in around 600+

Tried Tesco Value insurance Online, and got quoted 399 for the same level of cover and goodies! Upgraded to protected no-claims for another 55. Absolutely fantastic and wiped the floor with the competition.

Sounds good. Is that an RS or ST170?

This is who I use to insure my valver, and the missus with her corsa. The mk3 16v's are group 16 though not 15, which makes it a little more expensive. But all in a very good price compared to other insurers and my previous insurer 'elephant'. I pay 800 fully comp, which isnt the cheapest in the world but the best I can do with no, no claims. My only snag is the fact windscreens arent covered. Learnt this when i cracked mine and had to fork out the whole cost for a new one around 6 months ago [:s] But yeah, am chuffed, its due for renewal next month and ill finally have some no claims entitlement so hopefully will be a bit cheaper :)

Yes, but I was finding that Tesco equalled or bettered everyone else with the excess, so no loss there for me. Must be my age maybe.
