The coolest looking mk2 grille ever?!

    How hard would it be to make that? And is it legal to have the lights behind?

    Where can I get these from / make them?! I dont wanna buy the aftermarket grilles off ebay as I heard they dont look right, these grilles are beautiful!!

    The first one is homemade, some guy on Vortex made it himself and got the driving lights off some american car. I don't know about the second one.

    Some Yank sixties motor had hidden lights like that which looked cool, and a Mk2 Golf recently ;) .
    Legality ? not sure at all.
    Style points ? none whatsoever in my eyes for the above efforts.

    the bottom golf one looks like the headlamp covers slide across,still looks[xx(]

    an italian company makes those grill`s , its called - Orciari - but they dont sell it to normal people , the best place to search for it is ebay.de , it apears once in couple of months and it cost from 600-900 euros [:D] try google or youtube some nice vids and pics

    That's kinda funky IMO. Not sure if I'd fit something like that, but it's something a bit different, and I like different.

    Can't see it being a problem with the plod or the mot- as long as the lights work and you get a decent shape dip beam pattern then what's the problem?

    i like the second one wouldnt be to hard to make it. i like the idea that they slide back as well

    If done properly, though, it'd look quite good I think. Bit monstrous. In a good way!
