None what so ever, and I don't know any of my friends personally that HAVE :)

I've had Pearl, Yamaha, and Premier doubles before, and these are the daddies compared.

I'm not the best double player in the world TBH (though I have a notably quick single RIGHT foot), and I just use these here and there and for endings etc.

I did try Iron Cobras etc in the shop first though.

The fastest single I've used was the Ludwig Speedking [8D]

If i had any disposable income, or a kit (yes, im a drummer with no kit ), I'd have one of these.

I've heard of bigdog prof. Never actually used any though. Seem like great value for money!

I've just never had one!

Ive played LOADS of gigs as well. I only ever played drums at band practices as i used my mates kit, who was also in the band.

The band i played in was of thrash metal variety [:D] Im not the best technical drummer in the world, just pick up and play fun. My double kick is pretty good though [:D]
And my hands had to be rather fast to keep up with 200bpm songs!

Im a guitarist really though, drums is just a bit of fun.

    What about you Mr Dan?

    Yeah, I'm just a solid rock/metal/funk drummer really :)

I'm self taught, played on and off for the last 19 years, been in tons of bands (probably around 30-ish), and done loads of gigs (though not as many since I moved down to the softy south). Been in the studios a few times, taught a bit, and also done a few demonstrations in schools and pre-schools.

I'm not one of these 'new breed' drummers that float around the kit at a million miles an hour playing jazz-fusion and as many time signatures as they can in 24 bars,................though i DO adore playing in 7/8.

Here's a 5 minute clip to give you a bit of an idea. I'm not really a solo player, and I'm much better at 'complementing the music',......................just a demo of a few different styles)............

    Nice.

I cant play solos to save me life tbh. Ive not learnt enough techniques!

I just tw*t the kit half the time. [:D]

    Seems to sound good though!
