Danka has been off the road for three weeks now after a serious random electrical fault. Proper electric gremlins which I attributed to being caused by the three inches of water beneath the carpet. So, carpet out, what a job. I left it in my living room for a week but it just wouldn't dry. There's two inches of foam underneath the carpet and it soaks up the water like a sponge. Anyway, it was a lovely day today so I bit the bullet and put it back in. It was only a little damp on one side which I hope will dry eventually, now I've fixed the source of the leak. So, carpet in, battery charged, quick test drive. I CANNOT WAIT TO DRIVE THIS THING TO UNI TOMORROW. A470, 70mph (ish), LET'S GET IT ON.
