I have a an ABF with a 288 cam in it. Say I wanted, at some point in the future, to add boost to it; what option would be best? Supercharging, or turbocharging?

I quite like the idea of supercharging it, to create a sort of ramped up G60 style engine. In my limited understanding, the supercharger would add boost before the engine came on cam and start tailing off when the cam's in full flight. Am I right?

You'll want to pull that cam whichever way you go. Superchargers especially aren't keen on the fairly aggressive cams intended for N/A applications.

Stock ABF cams seem decent when boost comes into play... check out Toyotec's Wolf-R thread, it's a turbo'd ABF no S/C'd, but a great build and as always tonnes of top notch info
