works for some, not for others. thats insurance for you.
I found Elephant to be the best, saved me (and i bull s*it you not) 950.00 on my mk3 GTI 16v with our lass on (23 at the time, me 32). Then only charge me 360.00ish on my mk2 16v as a second car (only me on tho).

    Happy days

has anyone had to deal with these yet?!

insurance is up in a couple of weeks and their quote is pretty darn good.

22, 5yrs ncb, all mods declared, tpft inc commuting, with postcodes for 2 addresses where the car is kept overnight, etc..

    285

not bad i thought, although there is a 250 excess if you claim and your car isnt at it's overnight location between 22:00 and 6:00am whihc just happens to be the hours i work [:s]

Not brilliant for me either. Anyone know if they accept motorcycle ncb's? Some insurers do.
    1600 tpft
    0 ncb,
    19,
    1.8 mk2 gl auto- without mods declared.[:s]

But then again on the other hand it was only 1655 to get the same quote on a standard valver!!! :o

It comes up as a saving of over 500 with just one ncb!
