Noticed this on eBay when browsing for Scirocco:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190237206523&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123

I emailed the seller in jest to say that it is blatantly not a Scirocco

    His reply:

    I'm going to start selling Porsche's soon (advertise my mk2 as a 911 ;) )

If it was the paint colour then surely you'd advertise it as VW Golf - Scirocco Black.

    NOT VW Scirocco black [:s]

Come on guys be fair, who hasnt dressed up a car with a nice advert when it is a bit of a turd and you want rid of the thing. WHen i was a trader it had to be done. I can remember describing an Astra as a beautiful fun summer car, needless to say it was a rattly old shed.
