I've had mine over two years - think it was Phatty going on about them on PVW that made me get some Edited by: G_V_K
4 years ago i didn't drive. 3 Years ago i drove an Uno 2 Years ago i had my MK2 8v and was building it up for looks 1Year ago i desperatley wanted ARB's but couldn't afford This year i could.. and did... and have!
I really need to get some for mine. Maybe I can persaude my parents to get them for my birthday, do you think they will still be in production at the end of january??
know that one...but i'm still like it (anyone ever hear of any second hand ones for a mkIII vr...let me know)
havin said that, according to will (oakgreen88), my car corners very flat anyway. still want unprated ones though (neuspeed 25/28..yes please!)
I didn't mean flat through craners...it is a lift on the way in(in the faster cars)....but just dont be tempted to lift mid way through....you will be in a spot of trouble then! Chris...I have emailed you about the driver training, but I think I have copied the address down wrong. Can you drop me a line?
wot u forgot to tell everyone acf8181 is that i was racing a punto gt at the time, my mums car just didnt handle aswell as the punto did, plus i was use to a slammed rear wheel drive at the time, anyways we've all done stupid things wen we're young!!
apparently can buy the eibachs for round 205 from venom, not sure what fitting would cost maybe 50quid, why not do it urself? i will be! its not really that difficult so long as you have the correct tools!
Rear will be a dead simple job, even a complete novice could do the rear. The front is more involved as the subframe has to be lowered slightly to fit it, and sometimes the subframe bolts can be a nightmare if the captive nuts break off inside the chassis leg (worse case scenario)
i paid phatty 120, me & a mate fitted them, great fun blatting around the TT course on a sunday afternoon, & no speed limits on the isle of man either
