some help required again, have just got a N73, and have tom tom running on a nokia 6600, i've copied the files over to the memory card on the N73 but can't find it on the phone, can any one tell me where i'm going wrong or what settings need changing ? or will i need an updated evaluation copy of tom tom, if so where could i not download it from thanks in advance.......
I think you'll need the new version of TT, navigator 6 as this is the version that runs on series 60 3rd edition that the N73 runs. You can prbably get it from most torrent sites....i think.
after doing a search on our friend google, it seems the N73 won't run that either, looks like i'll have to stick with the 6600 for sat nav then!
on my N70 it's in...ah balls, I cna't remember! and my phone is knackered so I can't look go into the menu, there's something for "My apps" or something likse that, "my something" anyway. it's in there.
It deffo does as was in my bro's car today and he had it running, gives you speed camera locations as standard now! Look here
any chance you could ask how he got it running? did he just copy on to memory card and it just worked or did he have to set it up to the phone? and what version is it a recent one? any help welcome!!
right, i've acually managed to find the files on the phone,didn't manage this the other day! what do i do now, do i need to install it on the phone?
You've got the SIS file yeah? not a CAB file as that is for PDA's as Nav 6 is sort of mobile/windows ce etc
no idea ! how would i tell? tried opening files on the phone and it just said it couldn't open them, is it possible to evaluate a copy from somewhere?
i'm stuck with this too! just bought an n73 and a 2gb card, put the tom tom on it off my mmc card and I can't get the bugger to work at all! help!?

hey guys just going through everything writen on this thread and do not have a problem with the command prompt part, but cannot find a tomtom that will install on my phone, all the ones i have downloaded will not install on my phone, everytime i try it says cannot install. anyone know why??? also anyone know where i can get some australia maps
